It was originally my boyfriend’s favorite destination, and over the years, it’s become mine too. We visit this captivating island 3-4 times a year, and each trip brings new memories, fresh inspiration, and a deeper connection to the island’s magic. Whether it’s the crystal-clear waters, vibrant beach clubs or the allure of celebrity hotspots, Ibiza offers an irresistible blend of tranquility and excitement. If you haven’t experienced it yet, you’re missing out on one of the most enchanting destinations in the Mediterranean.

During these months, you’ll enjoy perfect weather without the high-season crowds, leaving you to soak up the island’s beauty in peace. In late May, the island awakens from its winter slumber. Beaches are still relatively quiet, the water is warm, and the excitement of the upcoming summer season is palpable. You can take your time exploring the island’s hidden gems, enjoying beach lunches with panoramic views, and experiencing the magical energy that fills the air. Late September is equally special, as the island begins to slow down from its high-octane summer. The water is still warm, sunsets are spectacular, and the overall vibe is relaxed yet lively. It’s the perfect time to savor Ibiza’s culinary offerings and enjoy some quiet bliss after the summer rush.

Relax, Rejuvenate, Repeat: My Spa Experience with Thai and Balinese Massage

As a fashion stylist, my days are frequently packed with long hours, meetings, and strong creativity, which, although exhilarating, can be exhausting. After all, taking care of others’ appearances requires me to prioritize my own well-being. That’s why, following a particularly frantic season, time to pamper myself with something relaxing: a spa vacation in Thailand and Bali, two of Southeast Asia’s most tranquil destinations.

Spa treatments can reduce stress, improve circulation, and even boost your mood – essential benefits if, like me, you’re always on the go! My spa experience in Thailand and Bali was transforming. It was more than simply physical relaxation, but a spiritual experience that I believe everyone deserves to have. These regions’ distinct treatments provide tremendous benefits, each with their own methodology and cultural legacy.

These warm compresses, filled with a blend of local herbs like lemongrass, kaffir lime, and turmeric, are applied to the skin, releasing their healing properties directly into your body. The warmth soothes sore muscles, while the natural oils from the herbs penetrate your skin, leaving you feeling deeply relaxed and rejuvenated. It’s perfect for those who carry tension from long hours of work or travel.

The rhythmic flow of the massage, along with the tropical scents, brought me to a state of profound relaxation. This therapy is ideal for anyone who wants to relax while simultaneously reconnecting with their inner self.

Their attention to detail and relaxing atmosphere made it a must-see on my Bali spa itinerary.

Milan Design Week — it’s a set of events distributed in different areas of Milan, featuring the endorsement of Municipality. It mainly consists of two key events: the Salone del Mobile and the Fuorisalone. For 60 years of its existence, the event has become a reference point for professionals in the world of furniture and interior design. Obviously, I could not miss this favorite event of Milanese life.

The Fuorisalone event includes themed events, exhibitions, pop-up shows, performances, presentations, concerts, DJ sets and special projects related to the world of design and furniture. Therefore, my friend and I put on comfortable Chanel ballerinas, stocked up on water (the heat was simply unbearable!) and went to be inspired by the best.

The Fuorisalone 2022 theme “Between Space and Time” is an invitation to reflect on the changes taking place in the world and the future we are striving for.

Fuorisalone has given its visitors the opportunity to reflect on important issues such as urban transformation, the circular economy, the spread of renewable energy, new materials, etc. In this way, Milan has become an arena where designers and brands have tried to imagine change through design. And they definitely did it!

Тема Fuorisalone 2022 «Между пространством и временем» — это призыв задуматься об изменениях, происходящих в мире, и о нашем будущем.

Fuorisalone предоставил своим посетителям возможность поразмышлять над такими важными вопросами, как городское преобразование, экономика замкнутого цикла, распространение возобновляемых источников энергии, новые материалы и т.д. Таким образом, Милан стал ареной, на которой дизайнеры и бренды попытались выразить будущие изменения посредством дизайна. И у них это определенно получилось!

At the event, many of my favorite brands presented their vision of the main theme — Seletti, Versace home, Italian Converter, Dior, Antolini, Fendi, Louis Vuitton. Here you could hug the cute giant Missoni home bunny, fall in love and plan your own Versace-inspired red room, and even play foosball on a Louis Vuitton table. Dior, together with Philippe Starck, made an interesting collection of chairs and presented it with an impressive musical show. No wonder there were huge queues for it!

На мероприятии свое видение главной темы представили многие мои любимые бренды — Seletti, Versace home, Italian Converter, Dior, Antolini, Fendi, Louis Vuitton. Здесь можно было обнять милого громадного зайца от Missoni home, вдохновиться на свою собственную красную комнату в духе Versace и даже сыграть в настольный футбол на столе от Louis Vuitton. Dior вместе с Philippe Starck сделали интересную коллекцию стульев и презентовали его впечатляющим музыкальным шоу. Неспроста на него были огромные очереди!

I was most impressed by the exhibition of Antolini, a showroom that specializes in products made of natural stone and marble. They have the best selection in Italy for marble!

And, of course, I can’t help but mention Versace Home — their exhibition occupied two floors in the palace, and the video involved in the installation was simply mesmerising.

Больше всего меня впечатлила выставка Antolini — шоу-рума, который специализируется по изделиям из натурального камня и мрамора. У них лучшая селекция в Италии по мрамору!

И, конечно же, не могу не отметить Versace Home — их выставка занимала два этажа в дворце, а видео, задействованное в инсталляции, просто загипнотизировало меня.

My Inspiring Venice Biennale

There’s no better moment to visit Venice than Art Biennale: it’s the moment of the city’s true splendour, when at every single corner of it you breath creativity. I was fortunate to see the preview days just before the official opening – this is when the tiny streets of Venice are full of stylish and exotic art insiders from all over the world.

Мне посчастливилось увидеть сезон превью до официального открытия — именно в это время крошечные улочки Венеции полны стильных и экзотических арт-инсайдеров со всего мира.

The main pilgrimage site this time was Palazzo Venier-Manfrin in Cannaregio, recently bought by Anish Kapoor and filled with his large-scale sculptures, paintings, mirror game and famous trompe-l’œil objects. I definitely recommend it, and, if you don’t have time to see both Kapoor’s exhibitions (the second is at Gallerie dell’Accademia), definitely choose this one.

The exhibition ‘Burn Shine Fly’ of Ugo Rondinone at San Giovanni Evangelista church is difficult to miss: just in the middle of the street passage you will note a part of it, the giant golden laurel wreath. Inside, expect to be sunned by his flying sculptures of sky-painted men. The little church is a little delicacy – look around to observe not only contemporary, but also antique art.

In Palazzo Loredan at Campo Santo Stefano there’s a great exhibition of the famous German painter Markus Lüpertz, one of the most influential contemporary artists in post-war Europe. I adored his statement use of colours and wide expressionist brushstrokes. Now I dream about having one of his paintings in my future apartment. I also enjoyed his coloured wooden sculptures that were amazing.

Мне также понравились его цветные деревянные скульптуры, которые были потрясающими.

Between visiting exhibitions, I couldn’t but gave a look at the antiques market in Campo San Maurizio. It’s one of my favourite in Italy, it’s small but incredibly chic. I often buy here vintage accessories and always receive compliments afterwards. This time, it was wisteria hat! Besides fashion, antiques and vintage interior and decor objects always are my must check.

This Is Ukraine: Defending Freedom by PinchukArtCentre was my personal as must as I’m Ukrainian. I was so proud to see the world’s top level artists presenting their works dedicated to my country – Damien Hirst, Marina Abramovic, Takashi Murakami alongside with the best Ukrainian ones as Mykyta Kadan. The exhibition takes place at Scuola Grande della Misericordia.

This Is Ukraine: Defending Freedom от PinchukArtCentre была моим личным must see, поскольку я украинка. But the main cream of the cream is, of course, the Biennale main venues – Giardini and Arsenale. Giardini (Biennale Gardens) was my personal favourite. I enjoyed strolling around from pavilion to pavilion, trying to concentrate on my favourite things but seeing a bit of everything at the same time.

It’s a breathtaking place.

Из национальных павильонов мне очень понравились Южная Корея и США. В Арсенале обязательно прогуляйтесь до доков, где не так давно проходил показ Valentino. Это захватывающее дух место

The last lunch before hopping on the train back home? Trattoria La Zucca is my new favourite. Not only it is tasty, but also extremely chic. Everything is natural, fresh and home made. I adored their lasagna and leeks with gorgonzola with a glass of white wine.

Bellezza alla italiana was served in a full bloom during Milan fashion week. It took roots from 70s i guess cos everything new is good forgotten old right? The wind of change was blowing in direction of relaxed beauty and structures … Likely not only fashion houses prepared new collections but also new cool places to visit opened its doors. The best shows was served by Tod’s with energetic leathers and western princess by Philosphy di Lorenzo Serafini, 65th anniversary of Missoni house and 50s of Etro, multitasking pockets game at Fendi. Here are 7 shows do not miss :

This women like to be in her skin literally all year round. With energy in leather colours, such as brown, orange and peachy shades. Python accents was strong as well ) Gentle play-off between masculine and feminine is sparkling with timeless allure. Very curious what is coming up from they capsule collaboration with Alessandro Dell’Acqua.

Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini

Women by Serafini is modern western princess in ruffles frock, with a drop of romance and sensuality. Ruffly dresses with North African print scarf on a side… lacy blouses worn with loose kind of pants. Lorenzo called it “a little bit of a trip”. A pretty effortless collection. In a nutshell next year’s sexy, summery partywear to shine !!!

Женщина Серафини – современная западная принцесса в платье с оборками с каплей романcа и чувственности. Раффли украшены шарфом с североафриканским принтом на гарнир… кружевные блузки, которые носят со свободными штанами. Лоренцо назвал показ “немного путешествий”. Довольно легкая коллекция. Вкратце сексуальный, летний partywear следующего года, для сияния!!!

Etro

In a flood of colourful hallucinogenic prints, Etro turned 50 in Milan, celebrating with all the family loves: Paisley, patchwork and silks. They were worthy of a company that started as a fabric maker and has gone on to be the rich and rare supplier to the fashion world. Did you know about it ? So there was Paisley – the origin of Etro’s patterning – that was mostly on maxi dresses, or on a coat over a bikini, a flowered top and pants and – why not? – on surf board. Was feeling desperate need to learn to surf, when i saw this, literally. My eye was caught by denim suit with patchwork and chiffon yellow and animal print suit combination for sophisticated beach-side elegance. Btw check out ‘Generation Paisley’, exhibition at MUDEC (the Museum of Culture) in Milan until 14th October 2018.

Missoni

On the roof of the Fiera di Milano, overlooking illuminated high-rise buildings competing with the rising full moon, Missoni celebrated 65 years as a family of fashion. Extraordinary lightness of their inventive knitwear, was accompanied by Michael Nyman’s live piano music. Collection was wonderful airy in its elegance as the faded shadow of the body that could be seen through knits. Almost all looks were as wearable and easy as clothes can be with spice of abstract faces.

Fendi

Takeaway from this show was the rebirth of the house It bag. Do you want some baguette mademoiselle ? Yes pls. It was served in every possible way and accompanied with dozens of pockets and stretch biker pants. There was a bigger Baguette, too—the one in denim, worn center-front with a matching denim blazer and cargo pants. Apple of my eye on show was everything denim. Logo mania took major role as well as plastic is fantastic entree with capes.

Giorgio Armani

The designer used different shades and textures to produce a whispering collection for a woman who was dynamic rather than delicate. Essence of colour was surprising as far as Armani well known for his ‘non-colour’ beige. The quiet shades became bolder as the show progressed, light pink picking up strength to approach fuchsia. In the same spirit, rain-washed blue became vivid turquoise with perhaps pale purples in. Designs were practical and casual tailored clothes saying gentlewomen.

Mitsuru Nishizaki made strong reference to unstructured, asymmetrical garments, with large volumes and characterized by different layers of fabrics, that what makes it stand out for me. Deconstructed one shoulder jackets, pants and dresses took my breath away. Was feeling on the go in a spaceship and in a need of half collection for private use. Which is your favorite collection and why ?

You make things right as you go along, and you tinker with the process to account for what’s not perfect. As things pick up steam and build momentum you’ll realize that the “just right thinking was just an excuse to delay the start or procrastinate. You’ll thank yourself for starting even though it seemed like it wasn’t the best time to do so.

Maria Grazia Chiuri and her mind set on infusing her feminist sensibilities into the feminine house of Christian Dior. 70s patchwork jeans to leather jumpsuits, from black pantsuits to sparkly glitter mini shifts and sheer dresses.

Clare Waight Keller former director of Chloe made a perfect entree knockdown of the season. Strong shoulder and the graphic patterns form archives were much in evidence. The show has opened with a double-breasted brass-buttoned coatdress and followed it up with a breezy dress in three different sizes of clover print. V-point knee-high boots looked cool and were designed with a woman’s eye for comfort and practicality.

Balmain

Marinière stripe rendered in monochrome paillette and softer stripes, also in sequin, over frayed bouclé shorts. These shorts were part of an unusual-for-Balmain section of daywear—but not every-daywear—that featured sweaters with V necklines so deep they ran almost to the ankle!!! Sex appeal is always a point of the brand, this season favorite is overalls in every possible textile.

Mugler

David Koma presented an pair of denim corsets over jeans and a skirt; both featured the turned-up silhouette of a giant folded hem at their respective waists. After some more sculptured denim, was another corset—shiny and black this time—over a black chiffon skirt. Such looseness is rare for Koma. But it was so delicious and hot/

Reverted to menswear’s Robert Mapplethorpe x Patti Smith dialectic. Really it was just feathered Gothic semi-stripped lush existentialism à la Meunier. Love disassembled suiting.

Off-White

Virgil Abloh brought the princess to the people. It may not be obvious at first glance. Only a close look at the frothy tulle dresses would reveal chunky zippers.the chic denim, including a jacket embroidered with Natural Woman in a typeface by the artist Devon Turnbull and his slightly post-modern take on glass slippers with heels enrobed in clear PVC was once again care of Jimmy Choo.

The oversize flight suit in washed cotton, the ruffled trapeze dresses in colorful African prints, and deconstructed evening looks that combined boxy tees and taffeta ball skirts. But the most important is impact -ecology friendly stuff.

Anytime while in Paris go to season cafe for breakfast or brunch. They serve not only good avocado toast with poached eggs and granola but also divine espresso. The last one is hard to find while in France, especially for Italian based and coffee spoiled person. Proved by me. Another noticeable place is derriere. The concept of the place “home away from home” feeling straightforward from the entrance. The food is fresh and wholesome, good for lunch or dinner.

В любое время, когда в Париже идите в кафе season на завтрак или бранч. Там можно найти не только хороший авокадо тост с яйцами-пашот и гранолой, но также и божественный эспрессо. Последний очень сложно найти во Франции, особенно для человека живущего в Италии и балованым хорошим кофе .Проверено лично мной. Другое примечательное место – derriere “дом в дали от дома” ощущается прямо с входа. Еда свежа и полезна, подходит для ланча или ужина.
