10 Essentials For Your Summer Makeup Bag

Despite the fact that I travel with several suitcases, I take only the most necessary cosmetics with me. Let`s look, what must be in my cosmetic bag during the summer holidays.

A mandatory attribute of my summer cosmetic bag is a sunscreen. It is desirable that, in addition to protecting against harmful ultraviolet radiation, it includes moisturizing and caring components. At the beach, I use Ligne St Barth Sun Lotion and ZO Skin Health SUNSCREEN + PRIMER SPF 30. Normandie Magnifique: sightseeings, beaches and local cuisine

Unique nature, excellent cuisine, authentic ancient architecture… And it’s only a three-hour drive from Paris.
It is impossible not to fall in love with Normandy!
First of all, I went to Deauville, an elite seaside resort in Lower Normandy, located on the coast of the English Channel. It has long been chosen by the French cinema bohemia — Isabelle Adjani, Catherine Deneuve, Vanessa Paradis and Jean-Paul Belmondo rested here at different times. Even Coco Chanel opened one of her first boutiques here.

You can get to this aristocratic city with chic architecture from Paris in 3 hours by car. You can rent it at the airport. The road is quite comfortable. The only thing is that there is a lot of traffic on weekends, because many Parisians go to Normandy for a lazy holiday.

We stayed at the historic hotel Le Normandy, one of the most interesting on the coast. It often stops the stars of the film festival taking place in this city. The refined interiors of the rooms are decorated with impeccable taste: floral fabrics, elegant upholstered furniture, paintings in wooden frames. There is also an excellent SPA and a wonderful restaurant of traditional French cuisine, where eminent pianists play in the evenings.

From Deauville we went to Trouville, a small town with a pretty little port and cool locations for a promenade. You should definitely look there to try the local champagne and feast on oysters.
С Довиля мы отправились в Трувиль — маленький город с симпатичным небольшим портом и классными локациями для променада. Туда обязательно стоит заглянуть, чтобы попробовать местное шампанское и полакомиться устрицами.
To change the view, we went to another town nearby. Honfleur is one of the most atmospheric and colorful towns in Normandy. Its picturesque bay is surrounded by old half-timbered houses. Once there was a brisk trade with the New World, and today snow-white yachts and fishing boats slowly rock on the waves.

Very late sunsets of incredible beauty in Normandy. So, plan to stay by the water until sunset — a romantic date is guaranteed!

A must-see in Normandy, Mont Saint-Michel Abbey is an hour’s drive from Deauville. This is an ancient fortress with a very beautiful view. You can get there by car, leave it in the parking lot and there are free shuttles from the parking lot that run every half an hour.
Обязательное к посещению место в Нормандии — аббатство Мон-Сен-Мишель, находится в дух часах езды на машине от Довиля. Это древняя крепость с очень красивым видом. Туда можно добраться на машине оставить ее на парковке и от парковки есть бесплатные шаттлы, которые ходят раз в пол часа.
For lunch here, we went to Les Terrasses de la Baie restaurant. Although the service there is a little lame, we were pleased with the beautiful view that opens from the panoramic windows and delicious cuisine.
На обед здесь мы зашли в ресторан Les Terrasses de la Baie. Хоть сервис там немного и хромает, мы остались довольны прекрасным видом, который открывается из панорамных окон, и вкусной кухней.
On the way back to Deauville, we visited another important attraction — the historic D-day beaches, where there are museums related to the landings and the Battle of Normandy during World War II. There are memorials, as well as dugouts, trenches and aircraft guns, as well as tanks, boats and equipment used in battle.
По дороге обратно в Довиль мы посетили еще одну важную достопримечательность — исторические пляжи D-day, где работают музеи, связанные с высадкой и битвой за Нормандию времен Второй мировой войны. Там находятся мемориалы, а также сохранены блиндажи, окопы и авиационные пушки, танки, катера и другое оборудование, что использовались тогда в бою.

It`s worth noting that the temperature in this region is 10 degrees lower than in other cities of France. So, in July in Paris it was +35 °, and in Deauville — a maximum of +25 °, and in the evening it is much colder. So be sure to bring a jacket or sweater with you when you travel. And enjoy that place! After all, Normandy will not leave you without positive impressions.
Из важного еще стоит отметить, что температура в этом регионе градусов на 10 ниже, чем в других городах Франции. Так, в июле в Париже было +35 °, а в Довиле — максимум +25 °, а вечером гораздо холоднее. Так что в путешествие обязательно захватите с собой пиджак или свитер.
И наслаждайтесь! Уверена, без позитивных впечатлений Нормандия вас не отпустит.

Milan Design Week: fashion for your living

Milan Design Week — it’s a set of events distributed in different areas of Milan, featuring the endorsement of Municipality. It mainly consists of two key events: the Salone del Mobile and the Fuorisalone. For 60 years of its existence, the event has become a reference point for professionals in the world of furniture and interior design. Obviously, I could not miss this favorite event of Milanese life.

В основном она состоит из двух ключевых событий: Salone del Mobile и Fuorisalone. За 60 лет своего существования мероприятие стало настоящим ориентиром для профессионалов мира мебели и дизайна интерьеров. И я тоже не смогла пройти мимо столь значимого и любимого события.

The Fuorisalone event includes themed events, exhibitions, pop-up shows, performances, presentations, concerts, DJ sets and special projects related to the world of design and furniture. Therefore, my friend and I put on comfortable Chanel ballerinas, stocked up on water (the heat was simply unbearable!) and went to be inspired by the best.

Мероприятие включает в себя тематические мероприятия, выставки, pop-up шоу, перформансы, презентации, концерты, DJ-сеты и специальные проекты, связанные с миром дизайна. Поэтому мы с подругой обули удобные балетки Chanel, запаслись водой (жара была просто невыносимая!) и отправились вдохновляться у лучших.

The Fuorisalone 2022 theme “Between Space and Time” is an invitation to reflect on the changes taking place in the world and the future we are striving for.

Fuorisalone has given its visitors the opportunity to reflect on important issues such as urban transformation, the circular economy, the spread of renewable energy, new materials, etc. In this way, Milan has become an arena where designers and brands have tried to imagine change through design. And they definitely did it!

Fuorisalone предоставил своим посетителям возможность поразмышлять над такими важными вопросами, как городское преобразование, экономика замкнутого цикла, распространение возобновляемых источников энергии, новые материалы и т.д. Таким образом, Милан стал ареной, на которой дизайнеры и бренды попытались выразить будущие изменения посредством дизайна. И у них это определенно получилось!

At the event, many of my favorite brands presented their vision of the main theme — Seletti, Versace home, Italian Converter, Dior, Antolini, Fendi, Louis Vuitton. Here you could hug the cute giant Missoni home bunny, fall in love and plan your own Versace-inspired red room, and even play foosball on a Louis Vuitton table. Dior, together with Philippe Starck, made an interesting collection of chairs and presented it with an impressive musical show. No wonder there were huge queues for it!

На мероприятии свое видение главной темы представили многие мои любимые бренды — Seletti, Versace home, Italian Converter, Dior, Antolini, Fendi, Louis Vuitton. Здесь можно было обнять милого громадного зайца от Missoni home, вдохновиться на свою собственную красную комнату в духе Versace и даже сыграть в настольный футбол на столе от Louis Vuitton. Dior вместе с Philippe Starck сделали интересную коллекцию стульев и презентовали его впечатляющим музыкальным шоу. Неспроста на него были огромные очереди!

I was most impressed by the exhibition of Antolini, a showroom that specializes in products made of natural stone and marble. They have the best selection in Italy for marble!

And, of course, I can’t help but mention Versace Home — their exhibition occupied two floors in the palace, and the video involved in the installation was simply mesmerising.

Больше всего меня впечатлила выставка Antolini — шоу-рума, который специализируется по изделиям из натурального камня и мрамора. У них лучшая селекция в Италии по мрамору!

И, конечно же, не могу не отметить Versace Home — их выставка занимала два этажа в дворце, а видео, задействованное в инсталляции, просто загипнотизировало меня.

Мы остановились на одной из шикарных вилл с видом на озеро Комо. Рекомендую выбирать лучшие отели и виллы, ведь пребывание здесь сделает отдых на озере Комо еще более запоминающимся. Селитесь в шикарном Hotel La Perla Grand или в Hotel Tremezzo, в ресторане которого я нашла один из лучших сорбетов в Италии. Но об этом немного позже.

We stayed in one of the luxurious villas overlooking Lake Como. I recommend choosing the best hotels and villas, because staying here will make your vacation on Lake Como even more memorable. Stay at the chic Hotel La Perla Grand or at the Hotel Tremezzo, in whose restaurant I found one of the best sorbets in Italy. But more on that later.

Tremezzo is a real paradise for gourmets! La Darsena, Cantina Follie, La Fagurida, Al Veluu Ristorante & Suites – and you are guaranteed a delicious dinner with an unrealistically beautiful view. For Mediterranean cuisine, traditional for the region, I advise you to go to La Darsena. The best wine list can be found at Cantina Follie. And one of the most delicious sorbets is in the restaurant at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo.

Мы с подружками так и не решились на заплыв. Зато мы нарядились в одинаковые бикини и закатили настоящую вечеринку с шампанским. Отдых удался!

Tremezzo is located 30 kilometers from the city of Como, in the central part of Lake Como. From the town it is convenient to go sightseeing to Bellagio, Varenna or Villa del Balbianello. The journey to Bellagio from Tremezzo takes no more than 15 minutes by boat. It is better to rent water transport at Cantiere Cadenazzi & Rent a Boat, who will select a boat that suits your request.

In a couple of hours, you can see all of Como and even swim, although this idea is only suitable for real daredevils – well, the water in the lake is very cold, even in summer! My girlfriends and I did not dare to swim. But we dressed up in identical bikinis and threw a real party with champagne. It’s been a really lovely holiday!

My 5 Favourite Spring/Summer 2022 Trends

The days are getting hotter and hotter, and I can’t wait more to give you my style advice about what to wear in the next – and the best – season. Here are the 5 biggest trends I recommend to try: daring, sexy and all about provocative Y2k aesthetics, but so easy to try in everyday life.
