“To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all” – Oscar Wilde

Screen Shot 2020-07-11 at 21.21.15

Existing is what everybody does. Living, now that is truly rare. People who wake up every day feeling blessed with another day to be alive are the ones that are truly living on this earth.

“I never dreamed about success. I worked for it.” ~ Estée Lauder

Here’s a success tip from someone that achieved high levels of success. She’s saying that dreaming of success won’t get you there all by itself. You have to have a dream, but you’ll stay a dreamer unless you back up your dream with work. Learn this lesson early on in your life and it will pay dividends all the time. If things aren’t working out the way you want them to it likely means you’re not putting in enough work to make them happen. Get a clear focus, a clear dream, a clear goal, and then follow up with focused work.

“Millions saw the apple fall, but Newton was the one who asked why.” – Bernard Baruch

Sir Isaac Newton practically started the Age of Enlightenment. Most people just saw an apple fall. Newton observed the apple falling. That simple shift in thinking made our entire world change. It even changed the way we see this world and the universe that surrounds us.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” ~ Maya Angelou

Screen Shot 2020-06-26 at 12.20.46Here’s a great yardstick for life, not the number of years that we rack up but the number of times we have those moments of awe that make life worth living. Be sure that as you’re living your life you are searching out moments that will take your breath away, because that’s what we’re here for, to experience joy and awe and all of the good things that life has to offer. If you don’t lose sight of this, you’ll have an amazing life experience and you’ll keep that inner youth all the days of your life.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” – Steve Jobs

Time is limited on this earth, nobody knows how long we will live. Do not spend your time working to be someone that you are not. Work toward becoming who you want to be. Life it too short to be living someone else’s life.

“Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be.” – Grandma Moses

Screen Shot 2020-06-17 at 15.19.40The life that you live is not determined by outside sources. The life that you live is determined by what you make of it. Everybody is faced with challenges they have to overcome. Some people complain about them, some people overcome them and use them to get stronger and better.

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” – Aristotle

Our daily habits is what ultimately makes us who we are. If you do everything with excellence, you will reach excellence. If you do everything with mediocrity, you will become a mediocre person. The choice and the act is up to you.

Just a right amount of Julia Hetta.

Fashion photography has the power to become a legitimate work of art when the photographer is one with a strong personal style and vision.

Julia Hetta is one of these photographers. This emerging artist is making a reputation for herself with her immediately recognisable portraits that combine dark atmospheres, painterly quality and an exquisite Renaissance vibe.

A signature image by Hetta includes the subject against a dark backdrop, faintly illuminated by a dim light. It is no surprise that, in addition to fashion magazines, Julia Hetta’s mysterious photographs are being featured in museums and galleries around Europe.

She works almost exclusively with natural light and long exposure times, Hetta imbues her subjects with a sense of serenity and power. Her use of light, color and texture transforms her fashion photographs into compositions of timeless enchantment.

No wonder why her editorial clients include Vogue, Dazed and Confuzed, Another Man, W magazine and T Magazine and her clients include Lanvin, Jil Sander, Hermès and Chloe and Gucci. Julia Hetta describes herself as a romantic.

She appreciates beauty and says she falls for it easily. It seems a fortunate disposition for a photographer, but Hetta, being Swedish, also observes the concept of “just the right amount.” I do agree with her vision on life and beauty creature, cos all the best is simple and gracefully proportioned with balance. It would be my pleasure to work with her one day!

Dior Magazine #23 June 20181

Vogue, Dazed and Confuzed, Another Man, W magazine и T Magazine, а ее клиенты – Lanvin, Jil Sander, Hermès и Chloe и Gucci.

“What you do speaks so loudly that I cannot hear what you say.” ~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Here’s a take on the “Actions speak louder than words. adage. It’s true that words can often be contradicted by the actions we take. This may be because words are easy to spew out, but you can only perform so many actions in a day.

Actions must be more thought out and are a more accurate measure of what you really intend to do. Make sure to choose your actions wisely, as others will come to their conclusions about you based on what you do rather than what you say. Many times there is a big discrepancy between what is said and what is done, which is why what you do matters more.

Steve McCurry vison of life as remarkable travel

Each of my photos is not just an episode from life, it’s  quintessence,  a full story, that what Steve McCurry said. By taking a glance at his works you are teleporting in that story….

McCurry has brought his works to such perfect level of perception when, you are looking at them, anyone realise the participation and partaking in the concept of universal development.

His career was launched when, disguised in native garb, he crossed the Pakistan border into rebel-controlled Afghanistan just before the Russian invasion. When he emerged, he had rolls of film sewn into his clothes and images that would be published around the world as among the first to show the conflict there.

His coverage won the Robert Capa Gold Medal for Best Photographic Reporting from Abroad, an award dedicated to photographers exhibiting exceptional courage and enterprise.

SRI LANKA. South Coast. Weligama. 1995. Fishermen.

Some of his pictures and especially a portrait of the Afghan girl are entered in the category of the well-known world photo-icons.

Though, without looking, at several photos that have passed one million and a world fame, McCurry, still, doesn’t consider himself well-known. As the photographer has told in one of his interviews: “Usually public recognise the photo, but not her author”. Discover more by visiting  Steve McCurry exhibition in La Venaria Reale in Turin. Enjoy

BURMA. Myanmar. 2011

INDIA. Jammu and Kashmir. Srinagar. 1999. Flower Seller at Dal Lake.

CHINA. Zhengzou. 2004. Shaolin monks training.

Enjoy
