If you are only focusing on yourself and your life then are not building any type of legacy. Becoming successful is tough but nobody does it without helping other people. A life is only worth the impact it has on other lives so strive to make the people around you better.

It’s funny to think that you may accomplish things without even knowing that you couldn’t do it. It’s kind of like the placebo effect, but in reverse. If someone would have told you you couldn’t do it, maybe you wouldn’t have been able to do it. Think of all of the things you think you can’t do, and question why you think you can’t do them. Can you not do them because you know you can’t, or because you tried them and were not successful? It may be time to try things you once thought you couldn’t do.
One word sympathy can carry a lot of weight. One word of sympathy can heal the wounds of many hearts and souls because of the meaning behind the word. If you choose your sympathy wisely you can make any situation more positive.
We must all stop separating ourselves into categories of nationalities and political parties. These ideologies separate us and cause us to only communicate and socialize with the ones who hold our same beliefs. We have to broaden our scope and accept everyone even if they are different.
Ever get caught watching the clock and stressing out about the ticking seconds and thinking that you won’t be able to get your current task done in time? That’s a dangerous thing to do because the clock doesn’t stop unless the batteries go out on it. You should take the same approach and work with the clock rather than against it. Make use of each second and don’t waste time because you’ll find that eventually you’ll be looking at the clock and stressing over it, which doesn’t produce anything.
“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” – Oprah Winfrey
Oprah is an oddly polarizing figure. She’s been loved and hated for her successes. She credits all of her success to positivity. When she speaks of her success, she rarely talks about hard work and determination. Rather she focuses on having the right thoughts and the right approach to life and work and values.
If we allow ourselves to be contained by negative thought, we will never achieve our fullest potential. Shakespeare is right to say this in the sense that we constantly struggle with selling ourselves short. Don’t get stuck in your past. Where you are now, is not where you will always be.
You can use your fear to point you in the direction of what is most important to you, rather than be hard on yourself for feeling fear in the first place. If you aren’t afraid of doing something, it generally means you don’t find it very important, or you wouldn’t have that fear.
In this way fear can help us drill down to the things that we simply must do. Part of that is going to entail getting over that fear, or learning to live with it so that you can still get the things done that need getting done.
