Mykonos is an island of 24-hour parties, so you are as busy as popcorn on a skillet here. You can meet and have fun with a huge number of stylish young people, who flock from all over the world. This summer, the island is so crowded, we were all packed in like sardines. Because after a long pandemic, everyone wants to breathe in the wind of freedom again. And in Mykonos you feel it as well as possible!

The island’s well-known architecture makes for a great backdrop for cool vacation photos. Lovely churches, white and blue houses, masonry between the sand — Mykonos cannot be confused with any other place on earth.

Хорошо известная архитектура острова станет прекрасным фоном для крутых фотографий с отпуска. Милые церквушки, бело-синие дома, каменная кладка между песка — Миконос не спутаешь ни с каким другим местом на земле.

Location, of course, is very important. Therefore, I advise you to stay in a hotel or a villa closer to the most famous beaches and restaurants. These are proven top locations — their list has remained virtually unchanged over the past few years. I visited the most popular ones: SCORPIOS, BAGATELLE, NAMMOS, Principote and others.

Локация, как и везде, очень важна. Поэтому советую селиться в отеле или на вилле поближе к самым известным пляжам и ресторанам. Это проверенные топ-локации — их список практически не меняется последние несколько лет. Я посетила самые популярные: SCORPIOS, BAGATELLE, NAMMOS, Principote и другие.

My friend and I settled near the picturesque beaches of Psarou beach and NAMMOS. At NAMMOS, I recommend you to go for a late lunch, because by 5-6 pm they turn on the music louder and you can stay for a happy hour drink. You can also have lunch at Spilia Seaside Restaurant — this restaurant is located in a beautiful bay. The view here is picturesque, the dishes are huge and real yummy-yummy.

Мы с подругой поселились недалеко от живописных пляжей Psarou beach и NAMMOS. В NAMMOS я советую пойти на поздний ланч, потому что к 5-6 часам вечера там включают музыку погромче и можно остаться на happy hour drink. Также на ланч можно сходить в Spilia Seaside Restaurant — этот ресторан находится в красивой бухте. Вид отсюда открывается, как с картинки, порции огромные и очень вкусная еда.

For fashionistas, there is a huge shopping center on the island. However, the selection of goods, alas, is not the chicest — for me, as an Italian who is used to the best selections in Italian boutiques, there was not much to choose. But there are many collaborations with international luxury brands and resort collections. I found here real treasure — my new limited-edition bag from BVLGARI.

Для любителей шоппинга на острове есть огромный торговый центр. Однако селекция товаров, увы, не самая шикарная — мне, как итальянке, которая привыкла к лучшим селекциям в итальянских бутиках, выбрать здесь было особо не из чего. Из интересного — на острове представлено много коллабораций с международными брендами класса люкс и, соответственно, resort-коллекций. Я присмотрела там себе limited-edition сумку от BVLGARI.

For me, SCORPIOS is the restaurant with the best cuisine on the island. But the institution is famous not only for this, but also for its audience, excellent music and fun parties. However, you should not overdo with the look here — you risk looking too pretentious. I also advise you to enjoy the sunset in this place — the view there is indescribable!

Как по мне, SCORPIOS — это ресторан с лучшей кухней на острове. Но не только этим славится заведение, но еще и своей публикой, отличной музыкой и веселыми вечеринками. Однако, не стоит надевать сюда шикарные вечерние наряды — рискуете выглядеть слишком вычурно.  not overdoing with the look Также советую насладиться закатом в этом месте – вид там непередаваемый!

On the territory of NAMMOS beach there is a DIOR pop-up store with charming decorations. This is another place for shopping and creating nice photos in Mykonos. DIOR has opened such pop-up stores in most of the major resorts — for example, in Ibiza, Capri, Dubai — but, in my opinion, Mykonos has the most interesting pop-up store of theirs.

На территории пляжа NAMMOS есть pop-up store DIOR с обворожительными декорациями. Это еще одно место в копилку шоппинга и создания креативных фото на Миконосе. DIOR открыли такие временные магазины на большинстве значимых курортов — например, на Ибице, Капри, Дубаи — но, по моему мнению, на Миконосе находится самый интересный их pop-up store.

For dinner, I recommend going to the BAGATELLE restaurant, which has recently opened here. The service here is a top notch. From the menu I want to highlight delicious fish dishes. There are also great sunsets and live music.

На ужин рекомендую сходить в ресторан BAGATELLE, который открылся здесь недавно. Сервис тут на уровне. Из меню хочу выделить вкусные блюда из рыбы. Также там классные закаты и играет живая музыка.

And if we are talking about style, which is welcomed on the island, I would call it as casual chic — not frilly, but not boring either. For example, I came to Mykonos with just one bag, not even a suitcase on wheels. A lot of people have asked me how I pack my luggage for vacation so well. The secret is that I really love Hermes square scarves, that can be worn as a top or a skirt. At the beach, I put them on my hips over my swimsuit. Here is such a magically stylish element of the wardrobe, which also takes up very little space in the bag.

Что касается стиля, который приветствуется на острове — это кежуал шик, не вычурный, но и не скучный. Например, я приехала на Миконос всего с одной сумкой, даже без чемодана на колесиках. Очень многие спрашивали у меня, как я так классно собираю багаж на отпуск. Секрет в том, что я очень люблю платки каре от Hermes, которые можно носить как топ или юбку. На пляже я ношу их на бедрах поверх купальника. Вот такой волшебно стильный элемент гардероба, который еще и занимает очень мало места в сумке.
