Rule №1. Before you go shopping, analyze your wardrobe.
Carefully study what you already have, especially in a considerable quantity, and what is missing. This will help you not be tempted by twenties jeans while you have a shortage of classic pants.
Правило №1. Перед тем как отправляться на шоппинг, проанализируйте свой гардероб.
Внимательно изучите, что у вас уже есть, причем в немалых количествах, а чего не хватает. Это поможет не соблазниться на двадцатые джинсы, в то время как у вас есть дефицит классических брюк.
Rule №2. Study the trends.
Before going shopping, look through a couple of glossy magazine articles about what colors and styles are in fashion right now. However, do not chase too extravagant trends — fashion is fleeting. Read also materials on the formation of a basic wardrobe (one of these can be found HERE). And only then combine the base with trend elements.

И уже потом совмещайте базу с трендовыми элементами.

A list of necessary things will help you not to deviate from the course. Clearly follow this list and don`t be distracted by what is not there.

Rule №4. Decide on a budget.
Decide for yourself how much money you are willing to spend on this shopping in general and on each individual item in particular. And keep that amount in mind. Give yourself motivation: for example, if you manage to stay within a certain budget, you will buy your favorite cake. Motivational advice is especially relevant for people who can’t resist compulsive shopping.

Going shopping with friends is a huge fun, I do not argue. But if your goal is to purposefully build a wardrobe and you have a very busy schedule, it’s better to go shopping alone. A husband or boyfriend is also not the best companion for this business, because he wants to get rid of boring pastime as soon as possible, therefore he is not entirely objective in advice. 2.The Battle of Versailles: The Night American Fashion Stumbled into the Spotlight and Made History ROBIN GIVHAN
On November 28, 1973, the world’s social elite gathered at the Palace of Versailles for an international fashion show. This memorable event was immortalized on paper by the Pulitzer Prize winner, fashion journalist Robin Givhan.
This show was conceived as a fundraiser for the restoration of the palace of King Louis XIV and brought together five leading American designers and five French designers on the same podium. This is a business thing, so in business casual style a casual thing should complement it. Pair it with a casual shirt, jeans, chinos or a light dress to keep the look simple, but still semi-formal.
