The best show: BOSS x Russell Athletic

Milan is getting back to life, and I can’t be more happy about it! The city exploded with events, shows and presentation, the streets flooded with stylish international crowd of journalists and influencers. And the BOSS x Russell Athletic fashion show was the cherry in the cake.

It was a massive show organised at Kennedy Sport Centre which became a classic American baseball game field with cheerleaders, an orchestra and hundreds of extras interpreting baseball fans. Everything was BOSS branded, including popcorn, ice cream and hotdogs!

Alberta Ferretti is always one of the most beautiful classic shows, this time set in an amazing courtyard of a typically Milanese palazzo. I spotted some many outfits for my future editorials!

For Ferretti’s show followed my a private dinner with the designer I chose a timeless jumpsuit and paired it to trendy chunky loafers from Roger Vivier.

Best presentation: Gucci Vault

Gucci always manage to surprise their fans, and I was not an exception! This time they occupied the customs house in Parco Sempione for their event.

Vault is a unique project: it will be an online platform where the customers will be able to buy restored and personalized vintage pieces by Gucci, and also a selection of young designers selected by Alessandro Michele in order to support international emerging talents. All the packaging will be sustainable.

Best collection: Prada

Prada is getting all the hype: they released another great collection full of future must haves and best-sellers-to-be of Summer-2022. I fell in love with atlas mini dresses with long trains, oversize leather jackets and sling back mules and cashmere sweaters combined to extra short skirts. Raf Simons is a genius!

Best exhibition: 40 years of Emporio Armani

Hands down, the best fashion exhibition I’ve seen so far! At Armani Silos they’re showing the 40-years history of Emporio Armani, the high-street brand of Giorgio Armani. With its dedication to Milan’s street culture since 1980s to nowadays, an incredible mix of classic cuts and casual details, amazing fashion editorials through years, it won my heart!

I’m a huge fan of Giuseppe Zanotti, and his latest collection was beyond my expectations! Set in a space-inspired scenography, it was dedicated to cutting-edge forms from 90s and early 2000s. The platform sandals are on the top of my Summer’22 wishlist!

The best prints: LaDoubleJ

I love the new LaDoubleJ concept store in Sant’Andrea street. It’s a pure joy of emerging into maximalist print mood. They are famous for their printed dresses made with Mantero silks which are fabulous, but this time I also noted some amazing knit polos and cardigans in bright palette. The home collection of tableware and textiles blows my mind!

I love the new collection because it’s very powerful and charged with extraordinary pieces. My favorites are bustiers, lace leggings, embellished thigh high boots and occasional dresses.
