Laughter is so incredibly therapeutic. Being able to apply laughter in times of boredom, heartache, challenging times and frightening ones, brings light and life to each situation. It shatters through tense energy and allows breaths of fresh air to enter you as you let loose in joy, even if for a moment.
Having a reason to live infuses us with energy every day to actually go out a truly live. It wakes us up in the morning and is a reminder to keep going. Is your reason to live your children, your job, your volunteer duties, other family and friends, pets? Don’t have a reason to live, find one.
Starting is the most important part of success, even though finishing is often thought of as having arrived. It’s so easy to get caught up in wondering about how things will turn out that we lose sight of getting started. Also, if you worry about failing, or coming up against obstacles along the way, this can deter you from even starting. But all of that is imaginary thinking because you only know what will really happen when you start moving towards your goal and deal with these challenges as you come upon them.
This seems to contradict the whole living in the moment thing. It’s the exact opposite. Every moment is incredibly important. You must be mindful and maintain positive energy in all encounters. Each step you take can take you farther on the path. Each misstep can get you off course.
What a great way to greet the world! Acting might come before believing on this one, as it’s not an easy task to believe that it’s impossible to fail. It might be a case of faking it until you make it, taking bold actions as if you really believe that you can’t fail, and then building up your confidence and your belief that you really can’t. Even if things don’t work out you still infused them with the right energy, rather than taking a defeatist approach that it probably wouldn’t work. It means you’ll try bigger and bolder things than if you are doubting yourself the whole time.
