I went to Punta Cana by myself and stayed for 5 days. If you live in an all-inclusive hotel, this is more than enough. The Meliá Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive was where I stayed. It is divided into sections, but I stayed in Adults Only, which housed only people without children. This hotel’s size appealed to me. The territory is so vast that it could be compared to a small Italian town.

В Пунта-Кана я ездила одна и пробыла там 5 дней. Этого более чем достаточно, если ты живешь в отеле all inclusive. Я остановилась в отеле Meliá Punta Cana Beach Wellness Inclusive — Adults only. В нем есть разные подразделения, я же остановилась в Adults only, где проживали только люди без детей. В этом отеле мне понравились его масштабы. Территория настолько огромна, что ее можно приравнять к какому-то маленькому итальянскому городку.

It was more peaceful, even passive rest. My morning began with yoga. This hotel also has a lot of classes, such as pilates, yoga, dancing, water aerobics, and other activities.

Это был более спокойный, я бы даже сказала, пассивный отдых. Мое утро начиналось с йоги. Это еще одно преимущество данного отеля: у них очень много классов — йога, пилатес, танцы, аквааэробика и т.д.

Then I went to a breakfast, where I read a book and ate local fruits while admiring the view of the Caribbean Sea. It is entirely possible to resist the temptation of junk food here if you follow a healthy diet. After all, the buffet contains a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Coconut water was the most popular treat on this trip. It is extremely beneficial to the body!

Потом я шла на завтрак, во время которого неспешно наслаждалась видом на Карибское море, читала книгу и ела местные фрукты. Если вы придерживаетесь здорового питания, здесь вполне можно удержаться от соблазна вредной пищей. Ведь тут в буфете очень большое разнообразие свежих фруктов и овощей. Любимым лакомством в этой поездке была кокосовая вода. Она очень полезна для организма!

I recommend visiting cool Jellyfish Restaurant in Punta Cana. I met an interesting woman from Romania in this restaurant, and we had a great time. This restaurant’s cuisine is very different from the hotel’s menu. They operate on the American model: in addition to paying for food, you must also pay a percentage for service and taxes.

В Пунта-Кана рекомендую посетить классный Jellyfish Restaurant. В этом ресторане я познакомилась с интересной женщиной из Румынии, и мы круто провели время. Кухня в этом месте сильно отличается от меню отеля. Работают они по американскому формату: помимо того, что ты платишь за еду, ты также платишь процент за сервис и налоги.

The weather was windy and rainy, which is unusual for the region. People flock here in the winter for the heat and sun. The consequences of climate change are obvious. I hope that relevant departments in national governments prioritize climate change. Otherwise, disaster is unavoidable.

Погода на острове была моментами ветренная и дождливая, что нехарактерно для региона. Ведь люди бегут сюда зимой за жарой и солнышком. Явно чувствовались последствия климатических изменений. Надеюсь, соответствующие службы в правительствах стран будут уделять больше внимания климатическим изменениям. Иначе катастрофы не миновать.

Nonetheless, I regularly visited the beach. Massage services are available there. It’s difficult to deny yourself this indulgence! In terms of cost, massages are obviously more expensive in hotels. On the beach, you can bargain for $ 20 for half an hour.

Тем не менее на пляж я ходила часто. Из интересного, там можно побаловать себя услугами массажа. Сложно отказать себе в этом удовольствии! Что касается цены, в отеле, конечно, массаж стоит дороже. А на пляже можно сторговаться на цене 20 долларов за полчаса.

If you visit Punta Cana, make sure to try the local Pina colada virgin cocktail, in addition to dishes like Caldereta de marcisco and Salmon steak medium rare. And of course try local fruits like agave, papaya, and passion fruit. Soles Bar and Capitan Cook, in addition to Jellyfish Restaurant, are worth visiting.

Если будете в Пунта-Кана, обязательно попробуйте местный коктейль Pina colada virgin, такие блюда как Caldereta de marcisco и Salmon steak mid rare, а также местные фрукты: агаву, папаю, маракуйя и другие. Помимо Jellyfish Restaurant стоит посетить Soles Bar и Capitan Cook.

I’d like to visit the Dominican Republic again, but not in the all-inclusive package. I’d like to rent a car and travel around freely to see the sights. I’d also like to travel with someone besides myself the next time. I wish you a fantastic trip too!

Я бы хотела вернуться в Доминикану, но уже не в формате all inclusive. Хотелось бы взять машину и свободно поездить, посмотреть достопримечательности. Также в следующий раз я бы хотела путешествовать не в одиночестве. Желаю и вам нереальной поездки!
