ST Barth
Saint Barth is the smallest island in the French Antilles. A true safe retreat away from the noisy modern life. You may live in harmony with nature here. Swim with turtles, dive over a cliff into the water, surf in the Caribbean’s clear waters, explore the local cuisine, and go sailing. Here is a short list of deserving locations: pay attention to l’Isola, La Guérite and Shellona, Bonito, and Le Tamarin.

You might spend New Year’s Eve in Santa Teresa, which is a highly well-liked vacation spot for yogis, surfers, A-list celebrities and silicon valley tycoons. All the bars are open and hopping, and there is a full-on house parties with world famous DJs. However, avoid attempting to travel anywhere because the roads will be so congested that you risk getting trapped for several hours. Or you might have a fantastic New Year’s Eve party in Rancho Itauna, which is a popular place to party all night long! It offers it all — classic music, drinks and hot dance.

Courchevel
Courchevel – Ski Capital of the World — could not resist, but highlight some of the customary winter celebration places. Skiing from the mountains is still regarded as the major form of amusement at the resort of Courchevel. The Courchevel slopes span a distance of around 600 kilometres. The majority of the nearby slopes appear to have been designed with novices in mind; they are wide, mild, and even. So don’t be hesitant to host a New Year’s family gathering here with your kids.

Из традиционный «зимних» вариантов для встречи Нового года, не могу не упомянуть горнолыжный курорт Куршевель. К новогодним каникулам здесь как раз устанавливается идеальный снежный покров. Протяженность трасс здесь довольно велика: порядка 600 км. Приличная часть местных склонов как будто специально созданы для новичков: пологие, широкие и ровные. Так что не бойтесь приезжать сюда с детьми для семейной встречи Нового года.

Megeve
Visit a ski resort in the Mont Blanc range of the Alps in southeast France for an active New Year’s celebration. It was the first purpose-built resort in the Alps, and the Rothschilds came up with the idea as a French rival to the Swiss St. Moritz. An 18-hole golf course, a high-mountain airstrip, and a ski region with 400 km of slopes make up Megeve’s infrastructure. I suggest you go to the Le Palais facility, which has indoor swimming pools, saunas, hot tubs, an indoor ice rink that meets Olympic standards, tennis, and much more.

За активным празднованием Нового года отправляйтесь на горнолыжный курорт расположенный в Альпах юго-восточной Франции, в массиве Монблан. Задуманный в 1920-х годах Ротшильдами как французская альтернатива швейцарскому Санкт-Морицу, это был первый специально построенный курорт в Альпах. Инфраструктура Межева включает поле для гольфа на 18 лунок, высокогорный аэропорт, зону катания с общей длиной трасс 400 км. Советую посетить здесь центр Le Palais с крытыми бассейнами, саунами, гидромассажными ваннами, крытым катком олимпийского стандарта, теннисом и многим другим.

Cortina d’Ampezzo
Not just France! Additionally, Italy has some respectable ski areas, such Cortina d’Ampezzo. The stunning Alpine village is tucked away in a natural bowl that receives plenty of sunlight, is wind-protected, and is surrounded by the majestic Dolomites. There are the usual forms of entertainment available here: SPA, delectable dining options, and skiing, plenty of skiing. Needless to say that its better to visit this place before and during upcoming winter Olympics in 2026.

Не Францией единой! В Италии тоже есть достойные горнолыжные курорты, например, Кортина д’Ампеццо. Красивый альпийский городок расположен в естественной чаше, наполненной солнцем и защищенной от ветров, и обрамленной великолепными вершинами Доломитовых Альп. Развлечения здесь стандартные: SPA, вкусные рестораны и, конечно же, катание на лыжах, много катания. Самое то для спокойного празднования главной ночи в году! Также добавлю что желательно посетить курорт перед и во время грядущих зимних олимпийских игр в 2026.

Gran Balon

Balon is a regular antiques and vintage fair in Turin: the Saturday market is a historical one, held every week since 1857 in the neighbourhood uniting the streets of Borgo Dora, Cottolengo, Lanino, Mameli and Cortile del Maglio. The bigger antiques market is organised every second Sunday of the month. It’s the best place to find some unique furniture and home decor, as well as vintage clothing and accessories from 1970s.

Aperitivo at Floris

Hands down, it the best 5 o’clock in Turin – the Italian way, of course! It means no tea but a good glass of prosecco, francicorta or a fine cocktail. You feel like a queen when elegantly dressed staff brings you a silver tray full of delicacies to accompany your aperitivo. Floris is not only a bar: it’s a very special mix of a flower shop, decor & niche perfumery boutique, so make sure to check their assortment before heading to drinks.

Al Garamond

I’m so lucky to have the most wonderful followers. When I came to to Torino, one of my readers invited me to the city’s most innovative gastronomic restaurant. Al Garamond is a pure joy for gourmands. The chef Santino Nicosia marries Sicilian flavours with finest Piedmontese produce, spicing it with love and passion for quality food. We tasted a carpaccio from Alba veal, garden tagliolini in beetroot juice and asparagus with egg Monferrina style. Delicious!

Green Pea

The world’s first Green Retail Park opened at Lingotto in Turin half a year ago. Green Pea covers a building of 15,000 square meters, sustainable in all details. The project has given life to a place with the characteristics of a natural organism, able to breathe and make people breathe, to demonstrate the importance of a more sustainable life through its own beauty: it is not surprising that the building is surrounded by more than 2,000 trees, plants and shrubs. The rooftop swimming pool is a real delight!

Первый в мире Green Retail Park открылся в районе Lingotto полгода назад. Green Pea занимает здание площадью 15 000 квадратных метров, эко-сознательное во всех деталях. Проект дал жизнь месту с характеристиками живого организма, способного дышать. Здание окружено двумя тысячами деревьев, растений и кустарников. Бассейн на крыше – настоящая изюминка!

Peter Lindbergh at Paratissima

Paratissima Art Station brings the works of one of my favourite fashion photographers to Turin. “Untold Stories” is the very first retrospective exhibition curated by Peter Lindbergh himself. In Turin, the project will be presented at the ARTiglieria Con/temporary Art Center from 13th May to 13th August. I was mesmerised by this genius assembling of penetrating images of women seen through his camera.

Paratissima Art Station привезли в Турин работы одного из моих любимых модных фотографов. «Нерассказанные истории» – первая ретроспективная выставка, которую курирует сам Питер Линдберг. В Турине проект будет представлен в арт-центре ARTiglieria с 13 мая по 13 августа. Я была очарована этим гениальным коллажем из снимков женщин с сильным характером, увиденных через призму его объектива.

Not only Michelin-worth restaurants can boast of cooking the best pasta. The one I tasted at “La Bocca” it was one of the most delicious experiences. The combination of home-made pasta dough and fresh Sicilian shrimps with asparagus was pure perfection. As well as their egg with seasonal asparagus: I definitely reccommend this place for a gourmet lunch!

Не только рестораны со звездой Мишлен могут похвастаться приготовлением лучшей пасты. Та, которую я попробовала в “La Bocca”, была одной из самых восхитительных в моей жизни. Сочетание домашних тальолини и свежих сицилийских креветок с аспарагусом было настоящим совершенством. А также их яйцо с сезонной спаржей: я определенно рекомендую это место для изысканного обеда!

Royal Istanbul: Visiting the Most Fascinating Palaces

As soon as the museums were open again, I benefited from this possibility to see the stunning cultural spots of the city. Istanbul s so captivating with its rich history of royal architecture, that I fell in love with the two most important state on the first sight.

Как только музеи открылись вновь, я сразу же воспользовалась возможностью увидеть главные культурные достопримечательности Стамбула. Город настолько завораживает своей богатой королевской архитектурой, что влюбилась в два самых важных государственных дворца с первого взгляда.

Dolmabağçe is the newer and more Europeanized one. It was built between 1843 and 1856, and has an impressive territory of 110 thousand square meters, overlooking magnificent Bosphorus from the neighborhood of Beşiktaş.

Долмабахче (резиденция последнего султана Османской Империи) является более новым и европеизированным дворцом. Он был построен между 1843 и 1856 годами и имеет внушительную территорию в 110 тысяч квадратных метров с великолепным видом на Босфор из района Бешикташ.

Dolmabahçe Palace was constructed and decorated according to western styles in order to facilitate cultural exchange between the Ottoman Empire and the Europe. It’s architecture and design reflects Rococo, Baroque and Neo-classics.

Paying the homage to style of Dolmabahçe, I decided to reflect the European classics in my outfit. I opted for an elegant midi shirt-dress in crispy white, and paired it with a pair of sling-back pumps and my iconic Tod’s fringed bag.

Topkapi is the oldest state palace of Ottoman Empire, built in XV century. Of course, I followed all the cultural rules to visit it, putting on a modest midi dress below the knees which covers my shoulders.

Топкапы – самый старый государственный дворец Османской империи, построенный в XV веке. Конечно же, я последовала всем культурным правилам, чтобы посетить его, надев простое и женственное миди-платье ниже колен, которое покрывает плечи.

Topkapı Palace is the home of the Ottoman Sultans, and the administrative, educational and artistic center of the state.

Дворец Топкапы являлся домом султанов, а также административным, творческим и образовательным центром государства.

The palace is divided into three groups: the Outer Palace, the Inner Palace and the Harem. The Inner Palace and the Harem are the sections where the private life and official conduct of the sovereign takes place.

Дворец разделен на три группы: Внешний дворец, Внутренний дворец и Гарем. Внутренний Дворец и Гарем являются зонами, где происходила частная жизнь и правительственные обязанности султана.

The Imperial hall served as the official reception hall of the sultan as well as for the entertainment of the Harem. Here the sultan received his confidants, guests, his mother, his first wife (Hasseki), consorts, and his children. The tile belt surrounding the walls bearing calligraphic inscriptions were revetted with 18th-century blue-and-white Delftware and mirrors of Venetian glass. But the domed arch and pendantives still bear classical paintings dating from the original construction.

Здесь султан принял своих приближенных, гостей, мать, первую жену (Хассеки), фавориток и детей. Плиточный пояс с каллиграфическими надписями облицован сине-белым фаянсом XVIII века и зеркалами из венецианского стекла.

The Baghdad Kiosk is situated on the right side of the palace’s terrace with a fountain. The interior is an example of an ideal Ottoman room, decorated with colored tiles, mother-of-pearl and tortoise-shell.

Багдадский киоск расположен с правой стороны террасы дворца с фонтаном. Интерьер представляет собой пример идеальной османской комнаты, украшенной цветными плитками, перламутром и панцирем черепахи.

Surrounding the whole complex of the First to the Fourth Courtyard are the outer palace gardens. A part of this area that is facing the sea is also known as the Fifth Place.

Весь комплекс от Первого до Четвертого Внутреннего двора окружают внешние дворцовые сады. Часть этой области, которая обращена к морю, также известна как Пятое место.

Lounging in a café of the garden terrace, I was thinking about how right my look was for visiting Topkapi. The olive green dress resembled the plants and the tiles, the flower earrings were like flowers of the magnificent interior decor, the palm Giuseppe Zanottisandals talked with the trees in the gardens, and the wicker bag by Mehry Mu was in cultural syntony with the wicker makers’ house in the first courtyard.

Отдыхая в кафе на террасе в саду, я думала о том, насколько правильным был мой наряд для посещения Топкапы. Оливково-зеленое платье напоминало цвета декоративной плитки, цветочные серьги были как узоры великолепных интерьеров, пальмовые босоножки Джузеппе Дзанотти повторяли силуэт деревьев в садах, а плетеная сумка от Mehry Mu была в полной гармонии с Дом мастеров плетения из соломы в Первом дворе дворца.

Bagan Mayanmar spirit

The world is incredible place to live and when it comes to travel we are always facing exciting abundance of choices to take. I think every trip must be special, would you agree? Guess this destination would be a perfect match gem for thirsty seekers of specials.

In Bagan, an ancient city more than 800 years old, stands more than 2000 temples, stupas, and pagodas. Aside from the Shwesandaw Stupa and Shwegugyi Temple, which have the best views but can be quite crowded, some of the best places to shoot are the North Guni temple because of its greeneries and the lesser known Khaymingha complex of stupas.

 Bagan’s temples are best viewed from a high vantage-point, and there’s no higher (or more jaw-droppingly gorgeous) perspective than the one you’ll get from a hot air balloon gliding 2,000 feet in the air.

 November to February is the peak season and is the best time to go to avoid the heat and the rainy season. Try shooting early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the light is golden, complementing the marvelous architecture. Enjoy

В древнем городе Пагане, которому больше чем 800 лет, находятся больше чем 2 000 храмов, ступ и пагод. Кроме Ступы Shwesandaw и Храма Shwegugyi, с которых открываются лучшие виды – единственное, что они могут быть очень переполненными, лучшими местами для съемки являются Северный храм Guni из-за его растительностей и не менее известный комплекс ступ Khaymingha.

Храмы Пагана лучше всего видны с точки птичьего полета, она не выше перспективы которую вы получите с воздушного шара, скользящего 2 000 футов в воздухе. Пиковый сезон с ноября по февраль и наилучшее время, для поездки во избежание жары и сезона дождей. Попытайтесь фотографировать рано утром или ближе к вечеру, когда свет будет золотым, дополняя чудесную архитектуру. Delicious bloom of spring in Garda Lake

knock knock… who is there ? It’s spring, let me in ))) We were waiting for you for so long, you may say!!! And yes, what can be better than to see the earth awakening, trees bloom, birds singing and heart opening for new discoveries ?

My latest discovery gem was breathtaking Garda Lake in northern part of Italy. It became famous not only cause its beauty but as well visitors such as Brad Pitt and formula 1 driver Sebastian Vettel. Before it was favorite place of Oscar Wilde and Goethe, i am sure some of their work were inspired by picturesque nature of the lake. Located just in 1.5 drive from Milan make it easy to approach!

Perfect destination for a weekend is Sirmione. It’s hard to find a more charming entrance to a town – across a moat on a drawbridge and into the forecourt of a castle that looks as though it had been built for a movie set. Walking around the town and seeing lake on the both sides give you such perception of freedom i cant explain with words…

Perfect place for a lunch or drink will be La Speranzina with a view on Garda lake. Enjoying the breeze of lake with a plate of delicious pasta and glass of wine… what else? Between they have a huge collection of wines,  you may find in 3 kg wine menu book)))

Best place to stay is Villa Cortine Palace Hotel. This is not only a hotel but a huge park located in heart of Sirmione. Abstractly had deja vu moment with villa Medici, might be all that fountains and garden sculptures. Will be a perfect destination for romantic getaway for two or family.

Мое последнее драгоценное открытие было захватывающее дух Озеро Гарда в северной части Италии. Оно стало известным не, только юлагодоря своей красоте, но и также благодоря своим посетителям таким как водитель формулы 1 Себастьену Фетель и Брэду Питт. Прежде озеро было любимым местом Оскара Уайлда и Гете, я уверенна, что часть их работы была вдохновлена живописной природой озера. Расположенное всего в 1.5 часа езды от Милана облегчают доступ!

Прекрасное место назначения для выходных – Сирмионе. Трудно найти более очаровательный въезд в город – через ров на разводном мосту и в переднюю площадку замка, который выглядит, как будто был построен для сьемки фильма. Гуляя по городу и наблюдаяя озеро по обоим сторонам дает такое восприятие свободы, которое сложно объяснить со словами…

Прекрасным местом на ланч или drink будет La Speranzina с видом на озеро Гарда. Наслаждаться бризом озера с тарелкой восхитительной пасты и бокалом вина…, что еще нужно? Между прочим у них есть огромная коллекция вин, Вы можете найти практически все в 3-килограммовой винной меню – книге )))

Лучше всего остаться в отеле Villa Cortine Palace. Это не только отель, но и огромный парк, расположенный в сердце Сирмионе. Абстрактно у меня был момент дежа вю с виллой Medici,  возможно такая паралель возникла от созерцания скульптур сада и фонтанов. Это место будет прекрасным пунктом назначения для романтичного отпуска или семейного отдыха.

Apart from warm sake on every corner and no crowds there are so much to try …One of the most iconic is Mount Fuji that makes a part of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site.

It’s been everywhere in Japanese art since ancient times when samurai warriors trained at the base and women were forbidden from climbing to the sacred summit.

Nowadays people travel from all over the world specifically to see this view; about 300,000 adventuresome souls climb to the summit annually.

Mount Fuji means “everlasting life.” Ironically at the northwest base of Fuji there are 14 sq miles (35-sq-km) that represent the opposite of life — the taking of life. Aokigahara Forest, also called the Sea of Trees, is infamous as a dense forest where troubled souls go to commit suicide.

The Devil’s Garden heaven: Plitvice Waterfalls

Once upon the time in  Croatia, this mysterious world was hidden deep in an enchanted forest and called “The Devil’s Garden.”

For the few brave souls that dared to venture beyond the woods, they found a heaven of amazingly-colored lakes, spectacular karst and thunderous waterfalls.

Enchantedly beautiful blue grotto on isle of Capri

Bewitched by the otherworldly beauty and glowing blue waters in the Blue Grotto sea cave, i scoured the web looking for more.

I found out it was a favourite spot for a Roman emperor, has inspired artists for hundreds of years, and has become a huge tourist attraction on the Isle of Capri.

As delight of summer island has been favourite society cream of the crop, wouldn’t mention all the names but lets start from  Jackie Kennedy…

By the way even Frank Sinatra recorded a song about the island “Isle of Capri” on October 1, 1957, for his album ‘Come Fly with Me.’ Lets fly high and dive into Capri blue grotto  together )))

Околдованный потусторонней красотой и ярко светящимися голубыми водами в морской пещере Голубого Грота, я просматривала веб, в поисках большего.
