Travel Light: Tips From The Stylist

I often get asked on social media how to travel light. Let’s see how you need to pack a suitcase without frills.
In fact, traveling light is a piece of cake. And it works best for people who travel often, like me. In a week I can change 3 locations, so I literally live on suitcases. And of course, I have already developed personal life hacks for traveling, including compact packing of suitcases.

В социальных сетях я часто получаю вопрос, как путешествовать налегке. Давайте разберемся, как же нужно собирать чемодан без излишеств.
На самом деле, путешествовать налегке — проще простого. И лучше всего это получается у людей, которые путешествуют часто, как я. За неделю я могу сменить 3 локации, поэтому я буквально живу на чемоданах. И естественно, что у меня уже выработались личные лайфхаки для путешествий, и для компактного сбора чемоданов в том числе.

Before you pack your suitcase, think about what are you going to do on the trip. Recently I have been to Istanbul, London, Forte dei Marmi and Milan. If I was going to a party, as it was in London and Forte dei Marmi, I thought over the image for this event in advance. So I understood what shoes and clothes would be needed. After that I select everything else to not drag a lot of things with me.


What about shoes, you need to understand what pair you use every day. You will wear it several times; at least 3-4 looks should be suitable for it. I have a basic set — Chanel ballerinas or loafers and boots with a small heel, which fit both jeans and classic trousers or a dress. If you wear high heels, add them to your suitcase too.

Перед тем, как собирать чемодан, подумайте, чем вы будете заниматься в поездке. Недавно я была в Стамбуле, Лондоне, Форте-деи-Марми и Милане. Если я ехала на вечеринку, как это было в Лондоне и Форте-деи-Марми, я заранее продумывала образ на этот ивент. Так я понимала, какая нужна будет обувь и одежда. Уже на базе этого я подбираю все остальное, чтобы не тянуть с собой много вещей.


Когда вы выбираете обувь, нужно понимать какая пара будет ежедневной. Ее вы наденете несколько раз; к ней должны подходить минимум 3-4 образа. Зачастую у меня базовый набор — балерины Chanel или лоферы и ботинки на небольшом каблуке, которые подходят как под джинсы, так и под классические брюки или платье. Если вы носите высокие каблуки добавьте их в чемодан тоже.

I usually take 1-2 pairs of jeans: 2 pairs if I’m moving in a “cold” direction and 1 pair plus a skirt if I’m moving to warm countries. Outerwear is a T-shirt, shirt, always a warm sweater, 2 jackets — lighter and warmer. I highly recommend pay attention to zip-up sweater. When it’s cold, you can wrap yourself in it, if it’s warmer during the day, just unzip it.
I advise everyone to buy a Uniqlo vest — it is compact, fits even in a small bag, but if it’s cold, you can wear it under any jacket or trench coat, and thereby warm up. The same can be done with a scarf — just wear it under a jacket or tie around your neck.

Из одежды я беру в основном 1-2 пар джинсов: 2 пары если двигаюсь в «холодном» направлении и 1 пару плюс юбку, если в теплые страны. Из верхней одежды это футболка, рубашка, обязательно теплый свитер, 2 пиджака — более легкий и теплый. Очень рекомендую для формирования экономного багажа в переходный период обратить внимание на кофты на застежке. Когда холодно в нее можно укутаться, если днем стало теплее — просто расстегнуть молнию.
Всем советую купить жилетку Uniqlo — она компактная, помещается даже в маленькую сумку, но, если холодно, ее можно надеть под любой пиджак или тренч, и тем самым утеплиться. То же самое можно сделать с шарфом — просто надеть его под пиджак или завязать на шее.

In my cosmetic bag, I take only the most necessary things, because I think that you can do 2-3 days without a full beauty routine. Be sure to put a pair of sunglasses in your suitcase. And I take silk scarves with me — they can also be worn under a jacket, made into a top or worn as a bandana.
Let’s summarise. If you are traveling to a warm destination, then your suitcase will most likely consist of a skirt, jeans, a pair of T-shirts and shirts, a polo and zip-up sweater, two jackets, boots and ballerinas. If this is a “cold” location, instead of T-shirts, we add warm shirts and sweaters.
The main thing that you will need to build on is your purpose of the trip. Think about how you can use the same clothes in several looks. That is, give preference to more versatile items in your wardrobe. These are the main rules, enjoy a comfortable journey!

В косметичку я беру только самые необходимые вещи, так как считаю, что можно обойтись 2-3 дня без полной бьюти-рутин. Обязательно кладу в чемодан пару солнцезащитных очков. И беру с собой шелковые платки — их тоже можно надевать под пиджак, сделать из них топ или носить как бандану.
Подытожим. Если вы отправляетесь в теплую страну тогда ваш чемодан скорее всего будет вмещать в себя юбку, джинсы, пару футболок и рубашек, поло и свитер на молнии, два пиджака, ботинки и балерины. Если это «холодная» локация, вместо футболок добавляем в чемодан теплые рубашки и свитера.
Главное, от чего нужно будет отталкиваться – ваша цель поездки, чем вы будете заниматься. Подумайте, как можно использовать одну и ту же одежду в нескольких луках. То есть, отдавайте предпочтение более универсальным предметам вашего гардероба. И будет вам счастье!

Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks: Mix of Impressions

Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks passed, leaving behind a lot of memories, and I am ready to share my impressions of the brightest fashion events.

Миланская и Парижская недели мод прошли с блеском, оставив по себе массу воспоминаний, и я уже готова поделиться своими впечатлениями о самых ярких мероприятиях мира моды.

As part of the Paris Fashion Week, I attended the Atlein show, the presentation of Maison Kitsuné and the Kilian Anniversary Party. I really liked the asymmetry of the cut in Atlein dresses, dresses with cutouts. Only at first glance it seems that their modern outfits are more suitable for young girls. In fact, these clothes can serve as the basis for the image of absolutely every woman. Add a touch of elegance with accessories — and you’ve got a bold, but sophisticated outfit!

В рамках Парижской недели моды я посетила показ Atlein, презентацию Maison Kitsuné и Kilian Anniversary party. Мне очень понравилась асимметрия кроя в нарядах Atlein, платья с вырезами. Только на первый взгляд кажется, что их модерные наряды подойдут больше молодым девушкам. На самом деле, эта одежда может послужить базой для образа абсолютно каждой женщины. Добавьте немного элегантности аксессуарами — и у вас получится смелый, но изысканный наряд!

Kilian’s party was one of the most exclusive at Paris Fashion Week. I am very glad that I was a part of this important event. At the Kilian Anniversary Party, in addition to perfumes, a line of decorative cosmetics was also presented. The whole beau monde came to the party: Natasha Poly, Coco Rocha, Ellen von Unwerth and many other celebrities and influencers. For this event, I chose a sophisticated dress from GRETEL Z. with a neckline — a classic one with a modern cut.

Вечеринка Kilian была одной из самых эксклюзивных на Парижской недели моды. Я очень рада, что была частью этого важного мероприятия. На Kilian Anniversary party представили помимо парфюмов также линейку декоративной косметики. На вечеринку съехался весь бомонд: Наташа Поли, Коко Роша, Эллен фон Унверт и многие другие селебрити и инфлюэнсеры. Для этого мероприятия я выбрала изысканное платье от GRETEL Z. с вырезом — классику с современным кроем.

A separate place in my memory was occupied by the Bulgari presentation and the Sergio Rossi presentation. I also liked the underground art exhibition from the BOYY brand. They are known for their bags, but this year they made a collection of shoes, among which I especially liked the glove shoe model. I will definitely use it in my future shoots.

Они известны своими сумками, но в этом году они сделали коллекцию обуви, среди которых мне особенно понравилась модель обувь-перчатки. Обязательно использую ее в своих будущих съемках.

Of the Milan Fashion Week events, the Moschino show made me smile the most, where Jeremy Scott played with the theme of inflatable pool accessories. The outfits were very creatively used inflatable circles, sleeves, mattresses… Jeremy Scott — just a storehouse of positive mood and creativity!

I also liked the Fendi and TOD’S collections. TOD’S also released a new table book ARIA D`ITALIA by Rizzoli and together with the artist Pietro Terzini, who collaborates with the best fashion houses, they made a cool exhibition at PAC.

And, of course, I couldn’t miss the Dolce & Gabbana show, where a new collection by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana was created together with Kim Kardashian, a big fan of their brand. The Dolce & Gabbana brand always gives gifts to their guests and make creative invitations. This time the invitation was a Kim Kardashian T-shirt, in the style of Andy Warhol’s diptych with Marilyn Monroe. Bright and creative — as always!

И, конечно же, я не могла пропустить показ Dolce & Gabbana, где новую коллекцию Доменико Дольче и Стефано Габбана создали вместе с большой любительницей их бренда Ким Кардашьян. На этот раз приглашением послужила футболка с изображениями Ким Кардашьян, в стиле диптиха Энди Уорхола с Мерилин Монро. Ярко и креативно — как, в принципе, и всегда!

Inspirational Places in Paris: My Personal Guide

If you are an aesthete and fashion lover, and are going to Paris in the near future, I have compiled a city guide for you, thanks to which you will definitely leave here with a lot of impressions. What exhibitions to visit, where to have breakfast and where to get inspiration, read on.

Если вы эстет и любитель моды, а в ближайшее время еще и собираетесь в Париж, я составила для вас гид по городу, благодаря которому вы точно уедете отсюда с массой впечатлений. Какие выставки посетить, где позавтракать и где набраться вдохновения, читайте далее.

When traveling to Paris, I advise you to see the exhibitions of Frida Kahlo in PALAIS GALLIERA, Schiaparelli Musée des Arts Décoratifs and Azzedine Alaïa Foundation. Tickets for these exhibitions cost from 8 to 15 euros. It is worth allocating about an hour and a half for each of them in order to enjoy the art calmly, without haste.

Во время путешествия я советую обязательно посетить выставки Фриды Кало в PALAIS GALLIERA, Schiaparelli в Musée des Arts Décoratifs и Azzedine Alaïa Foundation. Билеты на эти выставки стоят от 8 до 15 евро. На каждую из них стоит выделить где-то час-полтора, чтобы спокойно, без спешки насладиться искусством.

Paris has long been considered as a food mecca. So, where to go for breakfast, and where is it better to stop for a glass of delicious champagne?

For breakfast, I advise you to go to the cute cafe La perle. If the weather is sunny, take a seat on the cozy terrace and enjoy delicious food in the heart of bustling Paris. Breakfast here will cost you about 15 euros. In the evenings, you can also drop in here for a drink — a noisy party of Parisians gathers here. But for me in the evening it is too crowded, so I prefer to go here for breakfast.

Париж издавна считается кулинарной меккой. Итак, куда же сходить на завтрак, а где лучше остановиться на бокал вкуснейшего шампанского?

На завтрак я советую отправиться в милое кафе La perle. Если погода будет солнечной, расположитесь на уютной террасе и насладитесь вкусной пищей в самом сердце бурлящего жизнью Парижа. Завтрак здесь обойдется вам примерно в 15 евро. По вечерам тоже можно заглядывать сюда на дринк — здесь собирается шумная тусовка парижан. Но для меня вечером здесь слишком многолюдно, поэтому я предпочитаю ходить сюда именно на завтраки.

For lunch or dinner, you can go to the historic meeting place in the city Cafe charlot or Le Castiglione bar. If you want something truly luxurious, visit new places in Paris: a restaurant with good service and delicious food, La plume (on the picture), or a place with a chic terrace and divine drinks Bonnie.

На обед или ужин можно отправиться в историческое место встреч в городе Cafe charlot или в Le Castiglione бар. Если хочется чего-то поистине роскошного, посетите новые места Парижа: ресторан с хорошим сервисом и вкусной едой La plume или же место с шикарной террасой и божественными напитками Bonnie (на фото внизу).

If on a trip you can’t avoid work, you can come with a laptop and work while drinking a cup of fine coffee at Bonjour Jacob Canal Saint Martin Coffee I Magazine I Vinyl. You can also buy a great book there. I love places that combine both an art object and delicious cuisine.

Milan Fashion Week is coming and fashionistas from all over the world fill their suitcases with the most trendy outfits and go to a 5-day long party. And I’ll be there too!

Грядет Миланская неделя моды, а значит модницы со всего мира складывают в чемоданы самые трендовые наряды и отправляются на вечеринку длиной в 5 дней. И я тоже там буду!

Looks for fashion week should be relevant and express your charisma. I compose my looks based on the latest fashion trends. Usually these are 2-3 outfits for the day — one is more casual, the second for the evening, always with high heels.

Образы для недели моды должны быть актуальными, выражать вашу харизму. Я составляю свои фешн луки на основании последних веяний моды и своего расписания. Обычно это 2-3 наряда на день — один дневной, более повседневный, второй вечерний, обязательно с обувью на каблуках.

If you are going to visit fashion week, I would advise you not to overdo it with the outfit. Although many people think that fashion week is made for incredibly bold looks, I’m sure it’s better to look a little modest than too pretentious. A lot of people who like to dress pretentiously come to Milan Fashion Week, and sometimes it gets the impression that some kind of nomadic circus has arrived. This is no longer a fashion week, but some kind of costume performance than.

Если вы собираетесь на неделю моды я бы советовала не перестараться с нарядом. Хотя многие считают, что фешн вик и создан для невероятно смелых образов, я уверена — лучше выглядеть немного скромнее, чем слишком вычурно. На Миланскую неделю моды съезжается очень много любителей одеваться именно вычурно, и порой складывается впечатление, что приехал какой-то кочевой цирк. Тогда это уже не неделя моды, а костюмированный спектакль.

But don’t get me wrong: you need to stand out at fashion week. It just needs to be done smartly. I advise you to pay more attention not to brands, but to a beautiful silhouette, interesting cut and attractive colors of the outfit. Take on board the current colors — pink, purple, brown and green. And bet on cool accessories and an interesting hairstyle.

Но не поймите меня неправильно: выделиться на неделе моды тоже нужно. Просто cделайте это грамотно. Советую больше уделять внимание не брендам, а красивому силуэту, интересному крою и привлекательной цветовой гамме наряда. Возьмите на вооружение актуальные нынче цвета — розовый, фиолетовый, коричневый и зеленый. И сделайте ставку на крутые аксессуары и интересную прическу.

Bodysuits have a special place in my wardrobe for this fashion week. I love them for a long time and I am very glad that this year they appeared again in the collections of many brands. One of my favorites is from VERSACE. Also, I will definitely include MIU MIU wide pants and low-rise skirts in the list of things for this week.

В моем гардеробе этой недели моды особое место занимают боди. Я их давно и страстно люблю и очень рада, что в этом году они снова появились в коллекциях многих брендов. Один из моих любимых — от VERSACE. Также я обязательно включу в список вещей широкие штаны и юбки с низкой посадкой от MIU MIU.

I’m also a big fan of bustier vests and do a few looks with them for this fashion week. I am very glad that brands this season have focused on this element of the wardrobe. All the key players in the fashion market have bet on bustier vests, so you can add it to your wardrobe too.

Также я большая поклонница жилеток бюстье и не смогла удержаться от нескольких образов с ней для этой недели моды. Я очень рада, что бренды в этом сезоне сделали акцент на этом элементе гардероба. Все ключевые игроки модного рынка сделали ставку на жилеты бюстье, так что и вы можете добавить его в свой гардероб. Не прогадаете!

Cote d’Azur 2022: Best Places to Travel with a Friend

Luxurious yachts, rivers of champagne, the azure sea and the beauties were sung by Fitzgerald — it is impossible not to fall in love with Cote d’Azur. That’s where I went!

You can get to the Cote d’Azur from Paris by car or by TGV train. High-speed trains run regularly and pass almost all major cities. The train from Paris to Marseille takes 3.5 hours, to Nice — just over 5 hours.

Доехать на Лазурный Берег из Парижа можно на своем авто или на поезде TGV. Скоростные составы ходят регулярно и проезжают почти все крупные города. Поезд из Парижа в Марсель идет 3,5 часа, в Ниццу — чуть больше 5 часов.

First of all, I went to Monte Carlo, Monaco. For lunch, my friend and I went to the Brasserie du Cafe de Paris Monte-Carlo, from the terrace of which there is a beautiful view of the main square of the city. A tourist cafe with a 150-year history is a kind of visiting card of Monaco.

Первым делом я отправилась в Монте-Карло, Монако. Пообедать мы с подругой зашли в Brasserie du Cafe de Paris Monte-Carlo, с террасы которого открывается прекрасный вид на главную площадь города. Туристическое кафе со 150-летней историей является своего рода визитной карточкой Монако.

If you like parties, be sure to check out Buddha-Bar — this is a party place, but with very decent Japanese and Asian cuisine. It’s noisy, crowded and fun. If you don’t want to spoil your vacation with a long wait, I recommend booking a table in advance. You can also visit the Twiga club for a memorable party.

Если вы любите вечеринки, обязательно загляните в Buddha-Bar — это тусовочное место, но с весьма приличной японской и азиатской кухней. Здесь шумно, многолюдно и весело. Если не хотите испортить отдых долгим ожиданием, рекомендую бронировать столик заранее. Также для запоминающейся вечеринки можно посетить клуб Twiga.

After the party, I recommend to spend the day in the small coastal town of Cap d’Ail — it is five minutes from Monaco by train. I advise everyone to take the train, because parking there is very difficult. Here we rested on Plage Mala, after which we returned back to Monaco.

После шумной вечеринки самое время провести день в маленьком прибрежном городке Кап-д’Ай — он находится в пяти минутах езды от Монако на поезде. Всем советую брать поезд, потому что с парковкой там очень сложно. Здесь мы отдыхали на Plage Mala, после чего вернулись назад в Монако.

In Monaco, I visited two very impressive cultural events — an exhibition of works by Helmut Newton and an exhibition of L’Exhibitionniste Christian Louboutin. The masterpieces of two incredibly talented artists from the world of photography and fashion are very inspiring. After viewing Newton’s work, I had a dream: to do everything so that someday my photographs would also be honoured to be exhibited to the large audience.

В Монако я посетила два очень впечатливших меня культурных мероприятия — выставку работ Хельмута Ньютона и выставку L’Exhibitionniste Christian Louboutin. Шедевры двух невероятно талантливых художников из мира фотографии и моды очень вдохновляют. После просмотра работ Ньютона у меня и вовсе появилась мечта: сделать все, чтобы когда-то мои фотографии тоже удостоились чести быть выставленными на широкую публику.

The next point on the map is the resort of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Among the local beaches, I advise you to give preference to Plage de Passable — this is a wonderful beach in the west of the peninsula, which offers amazing views of the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer. And the location of the beach allows you to sunbathe in the sun almost all day! The only problem you may have here is the difficulty of parking a car during the season.

Среди местных пляжей советую отдать предпочтение Plage de Passable — это чудесный пляж на западе полуострова, откуда открывается изумительный вид на залив Вильфранш-сюр-Мер. А местоположение пляжа позволяет загорать на солнце практически целый день! Единственная проблема, которая может возникнуть у вас здесь — сложности с парковкой машины в сезон.

There is also a scenic road that connects the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat with the Plage de Passable. Walking along this road takes about an hour. For joggers, there is no better location for doing sport!

Здесь также есть живописная дорога, которая соединяет Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat с Plage de Passable. Прогулка по этой дороге занимает где-то час. Для любителей бега лучше локации для пробежки не найти!

The next day we went to the Anao Plage Beaulieu beach, which is located between Nice and Monaco — in the commune of Beaulieu-sur-Mer. On the territory there is a restaurant with chic lobster tagliatelle, veal tartare and delicious lemon pie. The service here is excellent — the owner of the establishment personally monitors the order, so everything here is at the highest level.

На другой день мы отправились на пляж Anao Plage Beaulieu, который расположен между Ниццей и Монако — в коммуне Болье-сюр-Мер. На территории расположен ресторан с шикарным тальятелле с лобстера, телячий тартар и вкуснейший лимонный пирог. Сервис здесь отличный — сам хозяин заведения лично следит за порядком, так что все здесь на высшем уровне.

And once in Nice, we could not pass by the La Petite Maison restaurant. I advise you to order shrimp and local cheese here. Also delicious are tuna carpaccio, artichoke salad, lobster pasta and beef tenderloin with foie gras. Even though I don’t usually wear heels on vacation, this evening I wanted to come here in the new Bottega Veneta. Why not — in Nice every day is a holiday!

И уже оказавшись в Ницце мы не смогли пройти мимо ресторана La Petite Maison. Советую заказывать здесь креветки и местный сыр. Очень вкусные также карпачо из тунца, салат из артишока, паста с омаром и вырезка говядины с фуа-гра. Хоть я обычно не ношу каблуки на отдыхе, в этот вечер мне захотелось прийти сюда в новых Bottega Veneta. Почему бы и нет — в Ницце каждый день праздник!

My 5 Favourite Spring/Summer 2022 Trends

The days are getting hotter and hotter, and I can’t wait more to give you my style advice about what to wear in the next – and the best – season. Here are the 5 biggest trends I recommend to try: daring, sexy and all about provocative Y2k aesthetics, but so easy to try in everyday life.

Short and comfy, the small crop tops are leading in the lists of summer trends. I like the knitted ones, as they add some retro spice to my looks. Opt for asymmetric cuts (I love one shoulder styles), look for appealing cut-offs and bold colours. Otherwise, choose a nude one and wear it with literally everything.

The low rise cut was the hottest thing happening at the runways. The rule of extremely low waist (as fashion world loved in early 2000s) is valid both for denim and for the tailored pants. I’m planning to invest in a good pair of light blue jeans and some coloured pants to wear with strappy sandals.

3. The Bold Colors

Summer is not summer without bright and joyful colours, and this season will not be an exception. As the designers are totally in love with Y2K period, the shades are bold and daring, like neon variations of green, yellow, pink and violet. My favourite is lime green and fuchsia, I adore them for jackets, dresses and shoes.

The other big trend are Loewe’s funny heel strappy sandals. If you have the budget for the original ones and for a mass market copy, it will be a great investment as they will definitely become a collectible item. I’m in love with the soap chunky heel and the rose stiletto.

Let it be as sexy as possible, just as in the hottest 2000s. Transparent or mesh, flowy with thigh high cut outs, gathered at the hip with some thin straps…. Maxi or mini? It’s up to you, the important thing is to raise the grade of sensuality.
